Prioritising AI opportunities for a property consultancy

A commercial property consultancy had information spread across several systems and wanted a practical view of where AI could help. We reviewed the current operation and delivered prioritised recommendations for the team’s next decisions.

Earlier consultancy work. This example covers our former report-led AI review service. Today we focus on software development, consultancy and coaching.

The client

A commercial property consultancy in Ireland, working across agency, investment, property management and professional services. Personal client service was central to the business, and any change needed to fit the people and systems already supporting it.

Before OKII

The business had several systems for managing properties, client relationships, documents and market information. Information was spread between them, and parts of the existing software were not being used to their full extent.

Data entry, document handling and research involved manual work. Previous difficulties adopting collaboration tools also mattered: the team needed an approach that took account of how people would actually use any new technology.

What we did

We held discussions with the client and used the findings to build an AI opportunity report. It began with the current services, processes and tools, then set out the operational problems the recommendations were intended to address.

The options included better use of existing software, easier access to business knowledge, lease-date tracking, meeting documentation and internal collaboration. The report also considered website enquiries and market research as areas to investigate.

We prioritised the opportunities by their potential impact and feasibility. This helped separate options that could provide a manageable starting point from more complex work involving additional systems and information.

The recommendations included a phased approach, indicative costs and timeframes for selected projects, training considerations and proposed measures of success. We sent the report to the client and arranged time to work through the findings.

After OKII

The client had a documented view of its current operation and a prioritised set of options to consider. The report connected each opportunity to the work involved, the likely implementation needs and the decisions required before proceeding.

It recommended starting with one manageable project and considering further work around the team’s capacity and budget. The client could use that structure to discuss priorities, allocate responsibility and decide where to begin.

The delivered work was the assessment and written recommendations. The report’s projected benefits were proposals for future implementation.
