Using AI on documents and spreadsheets
A media business leader came to OKII for help setting up AI and analysing business information. After the sessions, they reported using it independently on documents and spreadsheets.
AI coachingThe client
A business leader at a media and communications company in London, looking for practical help applying AI to their own business information. The work focused on individual coaching and business analysis.
Before OKII
The client wanted to use AI in their work and came to OKII for help getting started with the tools and applying them to business analysis. There were two parts to the task: setting things up, then working out how to use them on information from the business.
That gave the coaching a clear starting point. We had business information to work through together, so the sessions could focus on questions relevant to the client’s role and give them experience they could use again afterwards.
What we did
We began by setting up the AI tools with the client and working through analysis of business data. Setup and practical use happened together: the client could see how the tools applied to their information as we worked.
A further working session continued that practical approach. We worked alongside the client as they used the tools, keeping the focus on applying AI to business tasks. The coaching gave them time to try the approach with us before taking it into their own work.
After OKII
After the sessions, the client told us they were using what they had learnt independently on a business document and spreadsheet work. They were also trying new ways of using AI themselves.
The useful change was that the work had moved beyond the coaching sessions. The client had taken the approach into other tasks and was finding further uses for it without needing us alongside them each time.
